What sets me apart?

What sets Dr. DePaul apart from other evaluators is her meaningful integration of neuropsychological and psychological findings into a full, three-dimensional conceptualization of you or your child’s struggles. Dr. DePaul’s specialized approach to testing prioritizes this understanding of the interplay between one’s thinking (e.g., attention, concentration, organization, productivity) and their emotional landscape (anxiety, depression, self-esteem, coping strategies).

Dr. DePaul believes that a good evaluation can be therapeutic. It can unleash a powerful deluge of information that creates new, common language for previously misunderstood problems and offers fresh ideas about how to address challenges. Perhaps most important, the evaluation can offer you a poignant sense of being seen and understood.

Dr. DePaul aims to provide answers about the past and a roadmap for the future. This plan might include new directions for therapy, including recommendations for treatment and strategies to try at home. In some cases, evaluation reports can help secure access to accommodations or interventions at school or on standardized testing.
